Young mathematicians learned from the COMINVESTMENTBANK how to save the money properly.
Yesterday, November 8, the Mathematical faculty freshmen headed by the Math faculty Deputy Dean Pavlo Mulesa visited Uzhhorod branch of COMINVESTMENTBANK situated on the Lva Tolstoho street. The practical training as to own savings has been held within the framework of permanent cooperation between the Bank and Uzhhorod National University.
The meeting topic hasn't been accidentally chosen because the low financial literacy level is currently one of the most important social problems. The worldwide practice proves that not only making money but disposing the ones skillfully is important thing as well. So it depends not even on the funds themselves or their quantity, but also from self-discipline and tenacity.
Inna Voronych, the head of the management and marketing department of COMINVESTBANK told about it to the representatives.
The participants of the event shared the experience for managing their personal budgetings, selected goals for their own savings and their methods, namely, financial consultants advise to delay at least 10% of income.
The participants have also agreed the opinion that it is important that the saving process doesn't significantly influence the life comfort level, that is better to delay less, but for longer. They also discussed the ways for identifying savings reserves: monitoring their own costs, refusing some of the bad habits and spontaneous purchases, as well as the main rule for reaching the effective savings as "Pay Yourself First" (PYF). The amount you have planned for monthly savings should be delayed right away after the income is received.
«Such measures are intended for increasing the financial literacy of youth and getting acquainted the young generation with Transcarpathian Bank activities. It is very pleasant today to communicate with the students of my native Mathematical faculty, many representatives of whose work in COMINVESTBANK. Sure, the practical advice we have talked about will surely be reflected in the daily life of the training participants», Inna Voronych says.
Thus, the most active participants received branded diaries of COMINVESTBANK and Jubilee coins «1120 years of the city of Uzhhorod» in memory of the training.
The event organizers are sure in the benefits of the practices for such meeting and look forward to continue taking the ones.
